I try to achieve whatever look you may be hoping for, making each portrait a cherished keepsake, unique and inspired. EMP only offers digital packages, allowing you the ability to show your photos to friends and family online.

Elizabeth Boyce is a mom to four beautiful children and has had a camera in her hands since her oldest was very young. She began photographing births for her doula clients about 4 years ago, before it was even popular! After many requests, she expanded into portraiture. She can't decide what she loves the most. Birth photography is photojournalistic and tells the story of a miracle. Portraiture captures a unique moment that may never happen again. Each is special in it's own way and make her better at what she does... capturing your memories.

{Off to the Circus} Trophy Club- Grapevine- Irving Childrens Photographer

I had the joy of going to the circus on Saturday! I was asked to Photograph Avey's first birthday in Trophy Club. It was so cool! Her mama put a lot of time and thought into it and I think it paid off. They had a photobooth, a wagon parade, pin the nose on the clown, a bubble machine, and much more. They even had peanuts, popcorn, and cotton candy!

Here are your sneak peaks! Your family is so wonderful... thanks for sharing Avey's special day with me!

This was probably one of my favs... we tried so hard to get the nose on her and everyone smiling at the camera. Instead she had her nose on and ripped g-ma's off! LOL! It resulted in this...

Avey really wanted popcorn. I mean, it was HER birthday afterall! But this little guy, no matter how nicely she asked, wasn't sharing. She would rub his arm, smile, and be so sweet. Grandma and Grandpa came to the rescue eventually, but not before we got this look of determination.

She gave up on eating the smash cake (vanilla) when she realized there was chocolate. Smart girl!
jtbirthday_07_25_09-310
The amazing cake... although it came with quite the drama! Thank goodness for pre-paying.
jtbirthday_07_25_09-55
One of the few smiles we got out of the birthday girl. Fevers on your birthday are no fun.

A quick family photo. With a balloon. Who invited the white balloon? Don't they know white is never a good idea for pictures? Sheesh.

{Bright and Beautiful} Plano- Allen- McKinney Maternity Photographer

We did a session yesterday in Allen. It was cool and cloudy (perfect for us photogs) and the rain held off until we were walking to the car. It was great! This gorgeous family all came in bright, bold colors that I just loved. They looked great! We got some of just mom, some of everyone and even a few 3 year old shots in there!

Hope you guys enjoy these!

{One Tough Mama} Irving- Dallas- Las Colinas Birth Photographer

I had the joy of going to a birth on Monday. This mama contacted me a little late in the game, so the first chance we had to meet each other in person was at the birth. I knew she was tough the minute I walked in! After a long night, she was still going strong! Despite the odds, she had a natural (no pain meds) birth. 24 hours, induction, having to stay in bed, you name it! We were all proud of how hard she worked. She had a great support team too!

{Ballerina Bride} Plano- Allen- Richardson Bridal Photographer

This had to be one of my favorite shoots ever! It was seriously beautiful. We used a local ballet studio and the bride herself is a beautiful dancer. The combination of grace and light was just amazing. Her mom and sisters came and we had a great time. I love the images we captured and I am hoping it shows her as she really is... dancer and bride.

{Yearbook Family Photos} Mckinney- Plano- Allen Yearbook Photographer

I had the pleasure of doing yearbook photos for one of the homeschool groups that we belong to. It was so much fun! Can I brag a little and say that homeschool kiddos have to be the most delightful children on the planet? They are so polite and kind. I seriously enjoyed myself. Not only that, but they are so used to being together as siblings that they are very natural in photos.

So, I decided to do a sneak peak from each of my mini sessions. I had to reschedule and so we lost quite a few families. Hopefully we will get everyone next year! Everyones proofs will be up soon, but in the meantime, something to tide you over!

{A Newborn Party} Plano- Allen Newborn Photographer

So, most newborn session include a newborn (duh) and maybe a sibling or a mom and dad. We sit around feeding and changing diapers. Well, I had quite the newborn session this last week! Little Michael was our subject. We decided to go to grandmas house since she had such nice light. The light is what really matters! What we didn't factor in was all the aunts and uncles who would also be there. Add in an older sister and we had quite the crew!

So now, you are probably wondering why an aunt or uncle would be a problem. Well, meet them!

alnewborn_07_14_09-130
alnewborn_07_14_09-166
And the big sister...
alnewborn_07_14_09-134
Can you see our difficulties here? LOL! They were so excited. So, we get him naked, as I do all babies and we have our first casualty. My white blanket, ofcourse. So what do we do? Put him on G-ma's white blanket! Yeah, can you see where this is going? I don't think she will let us use her house again! But look what came from the white blanket mess...
alnewborn_07_14_09-264
So we move on to the beautful blue blanket grandma crochetted. We got these cute little toes...
alnewborn_07_14_09-208
But it also fell victim to the pee! So, we decide to try my new cradle. Why have we not put a diaper on this kid yet, you ask? Hmmmm.
alnewborn_07_14_09-358
We decided that one wasn't as bad as it sounded. Still, add that blanket to the growing laundry pile! So at this point, we are up to 7 poops and 6 pees. Whew! So, what the heck, let's put him on the antique chair naked!
alnewborn_07_14_09-431
Shockingly, this is the only thing he didn't pee on! So, all I have to say is that this may have been a messy session, but this baby is beautiful. I mean, truely. He is just so yummy I could eat him right up. That and he has a pretty awesome family. Thanks for being patient with me guys! Enjoy!

{Superwoman!} Plano Maternity Photographer

Anna, Bill and I headed out to the park early Monday morning for our maternity session. Anna is superwoman! She is due anytime now and has had terrible back pain, but she was such a trooper. She came out in the heat and was willing to do anything I asked. Sessions aren't easy when you aren't 9 months pregnant! I am looking forward to hearing that this little babe has made their appearance and she is feeling great again. In the meantime, hopefully these sneak peaks will help!

Probably one of my favorite shots of the day. I just loved how the sun came streaming over the top of the gazebo.

{Look at that hair!} Plano- Dallas- Mckinney Newborn Photographer

I had the wonderful job of capturing this little girl just days after her birth. She has to have some of the most beautiful, softest hair I have ever seen! She was just an angel for our session, sleeping peacefully through it all. She also got to test out my new little cradle. I hope her lovely family enoys these!
