{Three Handsome Boys} Plano- Allen- McKinney Family Photographer

I had the fun of doing a half session for this family's holiday cards. We had a great time. They boys were in great moods, despite keeping mom up all night. We were able to walk around the park, enjoying the lawn mowers, ducks, and playground. What session is better than that! Enjoy you guys and thanks for being patient!

We headed to Allen to an outdoor shopping mall for this session. I wasn't sure how well it would work out, but I loved it! We did have some REALLY close calls with the sprinklers. It was almost like someone was watching us and having a good laugh. But we managed to stay dry and get some great pictures. We had grandma and grandpa, their two daughters and their hubbys, and two grandbabies. It was so fun!

And this image I had to include so you could all here the story of what happened when I got home with this picture. I was going through our session and was looking at this one when my 5 yr old wandered over. This is how the conversation went from there...

Zach: "Ummm, is that a duck?"

Me: "Yep!"

Zach: "What is wrong with that baby! Is he just TRYING to be mean!"

Me: Laughing uncontrollably

Zach: (dirty look) "That duck isn't real, is it. Ugh. Don't tell anyone about this, mom." (walks away)

It was so funny. He was seriously worried about that duck. My guess is that the look on the duck's face contributed to the misunderstanding. I laughed, though. OH!

I love this little (maybe not so little?) family! We have tried to schedule this session for awhile and I am so glad the weather held for us and we were able to finally do it. It was so much fun, and as Chris, age 9 says, "This is WAY better than standing in front of a black sheet and setting the timer on the camera!" LOL! I tried to keep a straight face, but it was a challenge. Either way, the sun was shining, the kids were in a great mode and we even ended the session with a very wet and dirty romp in the creek. Another sucessful session!

{A Crazy Crew} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Family Photographer

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this family on Friday evening. We had planned to go to Haggard park, so imagine our surprise when we arrived to find a big band and crowds celebrating the 4th of July! We relocated quickly and were able to get in some family pictures before the light dimmed. We had quite the list of pictures as we did all the extended family as well, but the kiddos were just too cute, that those ended up being my sneak peaks. Rest assured, images of everyone are coming! LOL! Enjoy!

{A warm morning} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Family Photographer

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting up with on of my favorite families ever! I was the photographer for their wedding, maternity, birth, newborn and now their little one has turned one! We headed down to Highland Park on a very hot morning to do family pictures. It wasn't TOO bad... we survived, but we did have a great time. Noah is quite the active little man, so he kept us all hopping! I have to say his curls were just made cuter the more humid and hot it got! LOVE IT!

I had the pleasure of photographing little miss Riley and her family this last weekend. She was such a doll and put up with me sticking her in a basket every ten minutes! LOL! Her mama and papa tagged along and we got them in a few pictures too. They are just a beautiful new family and it is obvious that absolutely adore her. They have had to wait this week for their sneak peaks due to a birth, so here they are guys! Hope they were worth it!

{Mini Session Make-ups} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Family Photographer

I tell you, we had a heck of a time getting these mini sessions made up! We had scheduling, rain, wind, you name it! Then when we actually got there, I realized I had left me camera at the front door in my rush to get out the door. Yeah. I am a professional. I promise. Nonetheless, everyone was patient and understanding and we had a ton of fun. The kiddos got to explore the creek and found all sorts of cool things, especially turtles!

{Off to a Banquet} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Senior Photographer

I got the chance to take some pictures of Sam as he was heading out the door to his choir banquet. He looked amazing in his new suit and was so incredibly excited. This was fun as we'll be getting to do his senior portraits very soon! He had his two little sisters sneak a few in too. Sam, I hope it was fabulous!

I had the great pleasure of photographing these two beautiful girls with their grandparents. It was so fun to see them doted upon by those who love them. We also did some pictures of them in their beautiful dresses for their birth announcements. They are too cute!

I headed to the Arboretum Friday for a session with two beautiful sisters and their mama and papa! A is brand new and we wanted to get some sweet pictures of her and her family! Little C is the new big sis and she kept us moving. Considering how hot and humid it was, they did really great! I think this Daddy loves his girls, too! Enjoy your sneak peaks, you guys...
