About EMP...

Earth Mama Photography is dedicated to capturing those memories so they last forever. I specialize in birth photography, but also love portraiture for your pregnancy, newborn or family. I try to use natural light and shoot on location. This allows my canvas to be the beauty of the world around you. I try to achieve whatever look you may be hoping for, making each portrait a cherished keepsake, unique and inspired. EMP only offers digital packages, allowing you the ability to show your photos to friends and family online.

Elizabeth Boyce is a mom to four beautiful children and has had a camera in her hands since her oldest was very young. She began photographing births for her doula clients about 4 years ago, before it was even popular! After many requests, she expanded into portraiture. She can't decide what she loves the most. Birth photography is photojournalistic and tells the story of a miracle. Portraiture captures a unique moment that may never happen again. Each is special in it's own way and make her better at what she does... capturing your memories.

{Welcome LJ~ July 30, 2009} McKinney- Frisco- Allen Birth Photographer

EMP is pleased to announce the birth of LJ. After a bumpy ride, he made his appearance Thursday afternoon. By then, I am pretty sure I was falling asleep standing up ;) Mom worked very hard and labored all night and through the day. She was amazing. She had a great support team too. In the end, he ended up being born by c-section and I was blessed enough to be allowed in both the operating room and baby nursery. Yeah! Enjoy you guys and I can't wait to see him again!

I wish I could remember what they were so excited about. I have no idea. It is all a blur. But I loved this picture anyway...

I adore this shot. The first feeding. It exemplifies love in so many ways.

{Yearbook Family Photos} Mckinney- Plano- Allen Yearbook Photographer

I had the pleasure of doing yearbook photos for one of the homeschool groups that we belong to. It was so much fun! Can I brag a little and say that homeschool kiddos have to be the most delightful children on the planet? They are so polite and kind. I seriously enjoyed myself. Not only that, but they are so used to being together as siblings that they are very natural in photos.

So, I decided to do a sneak peak from each of my mini sessions. I had to reschedule and so we lost quite a few families. Hopefully we will get everyone next year! Everyones proofs will be up soon, but in the meantime, something to tide you over!

{Bluebonnet & Duck Mini Sessions Round 2 sneak peaks} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Childrens Photographer

Here are the sneak peaks from Friday's Mini session. I was so thrilled that the weather held out for us and we were able to get some beautiful images. Although I was a tad disappointed as I had several families willing to come in the rain with boots and umbrellas and do their session anyway. How cute would that have been! Maybe I'll still try.

So here they are, in order of session time...

Can I just tell you how hard it is to get 3 babies to all look at the camera (never mind smiling) when they are sitting in bluebonnets with ducks? Nearly impossible. We were SOOOO close with this one though.

This might be one of my favs of all the BB sessions... I just love the lines and curves. Plus, "D" was a REALLY cool kid.
