I try to use natural light and shoot on location. This allows my canvas to be the beauty of the world around you. I try to achieve whatever look you may be hoping for, making each portrait a cherished keepsake, unique and inspired. EMP only offers digital packages, allowing you the ability to show your photos to friends and family online.

Elizabeth Boyce is a mom to four beautiful children and has had a camera in her hands since her oldest was very young. She began photographing births for her doula clients about 4 years ago, before it was even popular! After many requests, she expanded into portraiture. She can't decide what she loves the most. Birth photography is photojournalistic and tells the story of a miracle. Portraiture captures a unique moment that may never happen again. Each is special in it's own way and make her better at what she does... capturing your memories.

{Beautiful Baby Caroline} Dallas- Irving- Highland Park Newborn Photographer

I was so excited to get the call that little miss Caroline had finally made her appearance. I headed out there for our newborn session. And, oh my, I could just eat her up! She is just beautiful and her mom and dad were just beaming with pride. We enjoyed a few hours and she was an angel... literally!

This first image just makes me smile. It was one of the very last and she was pretty much done with modeling when mom remembered she had this outfit sent from Grandma. We couldn't pass it up! It took us a good 20 minutes to get her to settle down once we got her in the outfit! But, oh, was it worth it. This was my fav from our session. Honestly, it is one of my favs, ever!

{Announcing Half Sessions!} Plano- Dallas- Coppell Photographer

I have heard your cry! Sometimes, a full session is just too much. You want a few pictures for a birthday card. You don't think your kids will last 30 minutes, muchless 2 hours. It is hot outside! Money is tight right now. I totally understand all this and so have decided to introduce what we call a "Half Session". Here are the details...

$125.00
8-10 images on CD
45-60 minutes
Up to 15 miles from Plano
Outdoors
Weekday sessions
Same great images that will capture that special moment!

There are a couple of things about half sessions that are different. I would normally go up to 25 miles for your session. Because the session is shorter, so is the travel. I promise, though, there are plenty of fabulous locations within 15 miles. Because of the shorter length of our session, they must take place outdoors. It takes time to set up indoors. A full session is best for those types of shoots. These sessions can take place Monday- Friday. Saturday sessions are very limited and book quickly. These are reserved for full sessions as I can only offer a limited amount. Lastly, a half session is paid in full when you book your date.

I hope this will give everyone a chance to capture those special moments and afford it at the same time. I look forward to seeing everyone with smiles soon!

{Books and Drums} Dallas- Addison- Carrollton Family Photographer

This was a FUN session. This darling family wanted to capture the things that they each love. So they brought them along. It was such a great idea and made for some really cool and unique images that I hope they will cherish forever. It was a very relaxed session as it is pretty difficult to get a 4 month old and a 4 year old to cooperate too much, but I think they did great.

The drums...

The Books...

The best smile we could get out of a very hot and tired baby. Look at those eyes!
jwfamily_08_24_09-542

Isn't this smile angelic? If only you could see what brought it on... pushing his sister off his lap and into a pile of ivy. Let me tell you, she was NOT smiling! LOL

jwfamily_08_24_09-605

I loved this one. This is so what life is like when you have two small kiddos.

jwfamily_08_24_09-483

What a sweet big brother! This was, ofcourse, before the ivy incident ;)

{First day of Kindergarten} Rockwall- Rowlett- Wylie Childrens Photographer

I had the honor of photographing Kloie's first day of kindergarten. I met her and her parents at her new school and followed them through as they dropped her off for the first time. I was teary eyed and it wasn't even my baby! I must say, I am glad we homeschool. Not sure my heart could take that! It would break in two. She seemed SO excited though and totally ready for her new adventure. Here are a few sneak peaks...

First out of the car and ready to go!

{All smiles} Dallas- Richardson- Garland Family Photographer

I had a family session Saturday morning. It was lovely out, and althought humid, not too hot. And let me tell you, this little girl was ALL Smiles. She was so incredibly darling. And I have no idea how it happened, but the pictures I picked as my favs don't have her smiling! Ironic, I know. She is just so beautiful, that it doesn't seemed to have mattered much. I am honored to have done this family's first portrait session ever. I hope to do more in the future!

Isn't this the sweetest baby face ever? Look at those big blues...

She had an adorable toddle that she started just in time for our session...

Smoooooooch!
tkfamily_08_22_09-328
Ok, and I went and tracked down a smiling one... because you all couldn't miss out on this. It is too much!

{Visions in my head} Plano- Allen- Mckinney Maternity Photographer

I have totally had this vision in my head... tall grass, sunflowers, beautiful pregnant mama, flowing dresses. Well, Erin said she was up for the challenge and I could not be happier with what we got. Not only does it fit her personality, she was just radiant and they turned out even better than I could have hoped. I am beyong thrilled. Who knew the side of a freeway could be so beautiful! Thanks, Erin, for being brave and tromping around with me.

{Family photos, with a touch of belly} Allen- McKinney- Plano Maternity Photographer

So, Kirsten wanted maternity portraits, but decided to do a family session instead. It was actually kind of fun... chasing a toddler and taking belly pics at the same time! Seriously though, they are just a beautiful family. Kirsten looks stunning in a blue dress with her red hair and her boys obviously love her to pieces. I really enjoyed myself. You will have watch because I am doing the newborn pictures for the baby soon to come. Looking forward to that as well. Thank guys! Sorry it was so hot!

{One gorgeous mama} Arlington- Grapevine- Southlake Maternity Photographer

I get to be this family's photographer for the next little bit and I am so excited! I did Rebekah's maternity session on Saturday and then will be there to photograph her birth and then follow up with a newborn sessions. This is one of my fav parts of my job, because each of those things is so unique and special. Rebekah and I had only chatted on the phone, so it was so nice to meet her in person... she is just as lovely as I imagined. I am hoping these sneak peaks are what she was hoping for. I thought she looked amazing. Enjoy, mama and it won't be long now!

{She has gotten so big!} Coppell- Grapevine- Lewisville Children's Photographer

I had the joy of seeing this little girl born and was so excited to see how much she has grown since then! We did her three month pictures on Saturday morning. She was happy and smiling for us. She has the most amazing creamy skin and I loved seeing this darling family again. Can't wait to see you in a few month, guys!

{Joseph & Sarah~ August 8th 2009} Plano Wedding Photographer

I had the absolute joy of photographing the wedding of Joe and Sarah. Not only are they just adorable, but they are so obviously in love. This was also the first time I got to do it all... engagements, bridals, wedding and reception. It was so fun! Next I will be photographing a baby! Ok, hopefully not TOO soon, but I sure wouldn't complain.

They were married in the LDS temple and so therefore I was unable to photograph the actual ceremony. I will tell you though that it was beautiful and heartfelt. I was able to get them as they came out of the temple and we walked around the beautiful grounds.

I LOVED this one. I loved the laughter and light in her eyes and that Joe was totally looking at the camera. Swoon! I did this one in two different ways. The first is a seventies action... it just seemed to fit their appearance.

What a dip!

The reception was fairly simple, but OH so much fun. They had a lovely dessert spread, baby's breath as center pieces, and a DJ for LOTS of dancing. My kiddos were there and my 3 year old still hasn't stopped talking about it. She tells me she wants to get married again ;)
Speaking of dancing, how about the infamous YMCA...

And more dancing...

This was the groom and mother dance... so sweet, especially as a mom of three boys. I hope my boys are this sweet with me.

And ofcourse, the bride and groom dancing. I love the way he is looking at her.

Did I mention food? These three didn't miss it!
jsmwedding_reception_08_08_09-56
And the cake, which was wonderfully tasty. Honestly, most of the time the cake is beautiful, but not always so yummy. This one was moist and delicious. So glad I didn't pass on a piece.
