I had the joy of photographing her mama's maternity session as well as her birth, so I was so excited to finally get to snuggle and love this sweet girl. She was an angel for our session and I was so glad her mama and daddy were flexible as I was called to a birth the first time I tried to do our session! It worked out though and her session is one of my favorites to date!
Just one little sneak...

{Beautiful Ava} McKinney- Frisco- Plano Newborn Photographer
This little girl threw everyone off and decided to come early! Thankfully I was able to work in her session anyway and I was so glad I did! She was just tiny and beauiful and slept so wonderfully for us. I can't wait for Mom and Dad to see the rest of these, but in the meantime, I thought I would share just one with my favorite new hat!

{Sleepy Smiles} Frisco- Mckinney- Plano Newborn Photographer
I wouldn't normally say that my newborns are smiley. Usually they are sleeping! However, this sweet little man blessed me with a great big smile as his parents kissed his head, and I CAUGHT IT! You can imagine my glee! Not only that, but he was just wonderful and sleepy for our whole session. I felt very lucky. This little man was born early and spent time in NICU, meaning that he was older than normal. But he did wonderfully. Not to mention he has wonderful and loving parents whom I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with. Enjoy these, you guys and congrats!

{Wide Awake} Plano- Allen- Murphy Newborn Photographer
I had the joy of photographing one of my great friend's new addition. It is always so fun to cuddle a baby, but even more fun when you know his little family! This little man has slept well every day... except the day I come! Figures. The great thing though is that he was totally great. He was happy to just lay there while I did my thing. We did eventually get him to sleep. Oh and you all have to watch for some new additions from his wonderfully talented mama. She does my knitting!! I have an amazing new hat coming up soon!
We'll start with the silly one and one of my favs! This was the beginning of a sneeze.
This well loved pouch was made by his mama!

{Antiques} Plano- Frisco- Dallas Newborn Photographer
With all the births and newborn session I had going on last week, we had to work around everyone's schedule. I didn't get over to meet this sweet girl in the first week like we had hoped, but she was great anyway! She was another bigger baby and did so great for our session. She had quite the adoring crew... a brother and sister, who followed me around telling me all about everything! I love welcoming crews! The best part was that mom had some beautiful, antique family heirlooms that we used. Knit hats, blessing gowns, and other beautiful things that we incorporated into our session. I loved it!
Look at those lips...
Isn't she sweet!
Her siblings loving on her...
And ofcourse, the smiles come out AFTER we take the baby ;)
A family heirloom...
The beautiful gown that babies are brought home from the hospital in, ring and all...

{a birth & a baby} Dallas- Plano- Frisco Birth and Newborn Photographer
This beautiful family has been waiting WAY too long for their sneak peaks. Good thing they love me! ;) So rather than drag this out, this is a double post. I attended their birth (back in OCTOBER!!!) and then followed up with their newborn session. I know the birth did not go the way they had hoped, but they were an amazing team and worked very hard to bring this gorgeous girl into this world. It was an honor to be there. Enjoy you guys and I am grateful to be a part of your lives!
Family and Friends seeing her for the first time...
Holding Daddy's hand...
And now for her newborn session....
It was such a cute crying face that I couldn't resist!
You should have seen what followed this shot! Let's just say, Dad had to hop in the shower ;)
Aren't they beautiful!

{Sweet boy} Dallas- Plano- Garland Newborn Photographer
I had the joy of heading out to photograph this little man shortly after his arrival. We had a beautiful RAINY day and we cozied up next to a space heater and got some beautiful images that they will hopefully treasure forever. He was awake for a while and rewarded us with his beautiful eyes.
I am thinking they will be blue, but who knows!
Not soon after he was sleeping... in a Christmas stocking cap! Do I hear Christmas cards in the future?
I love basket shots...
You would never guess that he is wrapped up in mom's scarves!
Love his lips and eyelashes...

{Sleepy Girl} Richardson- Plano- Dallas Newborn Photographer
I was at this little girls birth only a few days before and had the joy of seeing her again for this session. She is just so YUMMY!!! Not only that, but I adore spending time with her mommy. We had so much fun and let me tell you, she put up with a lot. This was one of my best sessions yet and I won't tell you my secret. (hehehe)
Ok, enjoy this little sweetheart!
My bear...
More processed than I usually do, but I just loved the vintage look...
Love this one. She is just so perfect.
Eating her feet!

{A Newborn Party} Plano- Allen Newborn Photographer
So, most newborn session include a newborn (duh) and maybe a sibling or a mom and dad. We sit around feeding and changing diapers. Well, I had quite the newborn session this last week! Little Michael was our subject. We decided to go to grandmas house since she had such nice light. The light is what really matters! What we didn't factor in was all the aunts and uncles who would also be there. Add in an older sister and we had quite the crew!
So now, you are probably wondering why an aunt or uncle would be a problem. Well, meet them!

And the big sister...
Can you see our difficulties here? LOL! They were so excited. So, we get him naked, as I do all babies and we have our first casualty. My white blanket, ofcourse. So what do we do? Put him on G-ma's white blanket! Yeah, can you see where this is going? I don't think she will let us use her house again! But look what came from the white blanket mess...
So we move on to the beautful blue blanket grandma crochetted. We got these cute little toes...
But it also fell victim to the pee! So, we decide to try my new cradle. Why have we not put a diaper on this kid yet, you ask? Hmmmm.
We decided that one wasn't as bad as it sounded. Still, add that blanket to the growing laundry pile! So at this point, we are up to 7 poops and 6 pees. Whew! So, what the heck, let's put him on the antique chair naked!
Shockingly, this is the only thing he didn't pee on! So, all I have to say is that this may have been a messy session, but this baby is beautiful. I mean, truely. He is just so yummy I could eat him right up. That and he has a pretty awesome family. Thanks for being patient with me guys! Enjoy!
