{A Romantic Birth} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Birth Photographer
Did you think this was possible? While I did, I still think this might have been one of the few I had the pleasure of attending, especially in the hospital. This mom and dad were so in tune with each other, it was just beautiful. You would never have known this was their first. Dad just jumped right in and supported her in so many ways. Mom was a natural and labored beautifully and was so strong, right to the end. It was a fabulous birth. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of it!

{Highly anticipated} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Birth Photographer
I arrived just in time at C's birth on Monday morning. She and her hubby worked so beautifully together to birth their first baby, C. She will be absolutely adored by her parents but boy does her daddy have eyes for her! She came out with her eyes open and looking around. She was amazingly alert. So here are your sneak peaks, enjoy!
This is one of my favs... D has so much emotion as he watches C working so hard.

{A hard working mama} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Birth Photographer
I had the pleasure of being not only the photographer but a doula for L's birth. She was amazing! Her and her hubby M were a great team and worked well together. She was so strong and pushed that HUGE baby out in like 5 contractions! She rocked. Here are a few sneak peaks... check out that 9lb 11oz baby boy too!
And probably my fav of the whole birth... what love all the way around.

{Almost time} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Maternity Photographer
I had the wonderful opportunity to take Maternity portraits for "S". She is one amazing and dedicated mama who is ready to have her baby next week (I'm photographing the birth, so watch for it soon!). She has been on bedrest and still looked fabulous! She has been anxiously awaiting her sneak peaks, so "S" here they are...

{Beautiful Bellies} Plano- Dallas- Mckinney Maternity Photographer
I know what you are wondering... why is belly plural? Usually there is only one belly in a maternity session, right? Not this time! And it probably isn't what you are thinking either!
I did a session for this fabulously fun couple yesterday. They were great to work with and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I can't wait to photograph their birth!
So guys, here are your sneak peaks. I had to throw one in of Coco... She is just too cute!

{A really cool birth} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Birth Photographer
I attended a birth last night and this morning that was really cool! Not only did this mama have an amazing waterbirth, the birth was being filmed for a TV show on Homebirth! How cool is that! So it was challenging making sure we weren't in each others way, but it was neat none the less!
Her birth was a challenging one and one I could certainly relate to on a personal level. She worked really hard and was beautiful and amazing. Her three boys were so darling together.
Thanks Cori... I am honored to have been there with you. Enjoy your sneak peaks!

An exciting birth today...
In a different way! I got to attend a caesarean at a hospital today that doesn't usually allow "extras" in! It was absolutely wonderful. This mama wanted a vaginal birth SOOOO badly, but her footling breech baby wasn't cooperating. Instead we had a beautiful c-section. They were kind and considerate of her wishes and involved her and her hubby as much as they wanted to be. I was seriously impressed. Kudos to this mama for fighting for the things that were important to her and to Dr. Fogwell for going with it all! A, you rock my world. You are brave and amazing and you did a fabulous job. I hope these photos bring you a better sense of what happened today. THANKS!!

A whirlwind of a homebirth!
And oh was it! I got to attend a beautiful homebirth tonight in the middle of a tornado! That's right. Shortly after giving birth, we heard those sirens blaring and off we all trotted to the cupboard under the stairs! It was great. Mom was amazing and her whole team worked so well to support her. I was honored to be there. A few sneak peaks of baby Eleanor and her family!
