About EMP...

Earth Mama Photography is dedicated to capturing those memories so they last forever. I specialize in birth photography, but also love portraiture for your pregnancy, newborn or family. I try to use natural light and shoot on location. This allows my canvas to be the beauty of the world around you. I try to achieve whatever look you may be hoping for, making each portrait a cherished keepsake, unique and inspired. EMP only offers digital packages, allowing you the ability to show your photos to friends and family online.

Elizabeth Boyce is a mom to four beautiful children and has had a camera in her hands since her oldest was very young. She began photographing births for her doula clients about 4 years ago, before it was even popular! After many requests, she expanded into portraiture. She can't decide what she loves the most. Birth photography is photojournalistic and tells the story of a miracle. Portraiture captures a unique moment that may never happen again. Each is special in it's own way and make her better at what she does... capturing your memories.

{Stormy Afternoon} Garland- Rowlett- Rockwall Maternity Photographer

I had the joy of doing a maternity session for Gabrielle this week. Her session was a baby gift and we had so much fun! She is a budding photographer as well and we got to swap photos. It was a lot of fun. We had an amazing storm hit while we were working and it resulted in these beautiful window images with rain all over them. And can I just say that I WISH my belly was this gorgeous. Seriously, not even a stretch mark. She is just gorgeous, swollen ankles and "mango, mango" nail polish and all! LOL!

Enjoy hon!

I ADORE this one. It is so beautiful. She just looks amazing and sultry, just as every expecting mom should.

Then Gabrielle was brave enough to head outside in the rain soaked fields... barefoot!! Honestly, the light was amazing and so was her dress. The result was worth it!

She looks so calm in this one. Just soaking up the sun (ummm, that was hidden behind clouds ;)

{A little of both} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Maternity Photographer

First off, I want to apologize. I am a few days behind and I had hoped to have these posted already! I am catching up tonight for sure!

I did a maternity session with "R" and her hubby "D" last week. We did a few bare ones first in their home and then ventured out to downtown Mckinney and did some there as well. I don't know about them, but I had a blast! I hadn't done a session there before and there was a tone of great places that worked great. And I had a great subject. "R" is just beautiful with her perfectly round baby belly. Thanks guys and I hope you enjoy your sneak peaks!

I know this mama is dying to see her sneak peaks from our session. She is specifically hoping for one, but "C" I will send that one to you ;) We had a great time today. She was adventurous and we were able to get one of my all time favorite shots. I am really please with how they turned out. FYI, the first one is a bit "Bare" so be forewarned!

Portraits in the hospital!

I did the coolest session yesterday! I had a mom to be contact me. She was in the hospital on bedrest and wanted to know if it was possible to do maternity portraits. I was up for the challenge, so I headed to Dallas to see what we could do! I am pleasantly surprised at how they came out and that they don't look like a hospital room! There were definetely a few things I would do differently if I did it again, but overall, it worked.

Here are a few sneak peaks for one gorgeous and patient mama...

An exciting birth today...

In a different way! I got to attend a caesarean at a hospital today that doesn't usually allow "extras" in! It was absolutely wonderful. This mama wanted a vaginal birth SOOOO badly, but her footling breech baby wasn't cooperating. Instead we had a beautiful c-section. They were kind and considerate of her wishes and involved her and her hubby as much as they wanted to be. I was seriously impressed. Kudos to this mama for fighting for the things that were important to her and to Dr. Fogwell for going with it all! A, you rock my world. You are brave and amazing and you did a fabulous job. I hope these photos bring you a better sense of what happened today. THANKS!!

A foggy maternity session...

We had the most amazing weather Tuesday morning. It was warm and foggy and overcast and it was absolutely perfect conditions for this maternity session. We did a bunch of just this beautiful mama to be and then added her daughter and hubby into the mix. What fun! I hope you guys enjoy a few sneak peaks. It was great seeing you again!

A Stunning and Sexy Mom-to-be

I did a session for "E" today. WOW. She wanted some pictures of her that would make her feel beautiful. I hope we did that! She is being brave and letting me post a few samples, even though they are a bit "sexy". I assured her that only she would notice any flaws. The rest of us will just be jealous that we don't look half that good!

So without further ado...

A Beautiful Mama in waiting...

I had the chance to do S's Maternity photos yesterday. They turned out beautiful and just make this mama glow! We did a bunch of just her and then tried to coax her hubby and daughter into cooperating. Apparently two year olds have their own minds!

She was just so cute, even if she wanted nothing to do with maternity pictures!

Maternity Session for a Gorgeous 5th time Mom

K is one of my best friends and I was so thrilled to get to take these for her. She is due in a mere few weeks and looks phenomenal! We enjoyed beautiful lighting on the shores of Ray Hubbard Lake in Rockwall. For the entire shoot, visit my flickr page.
