{A Christmas Eve Jinglebelle} Mckinney- Plano- Denton Birth Photographer

I had the honor of being there when this family planned to bring "Jinglebelle" into this world. It was a planned homebirth and this little baby decided to surprise us be being breech during labor. As circumstances worked out, I wasn't able to photograph her birth. I did get the chance to capture all the lovely moments that led up to it and then go back for a newborn session this last week. She is just beautiful and her family loves her more than any I have ever seen. I mean, ADORE her. She is a lucky girl and they are so blessed to have her as well. I love you guys and am grateful to have been there through it all! Enjoy these special moments...

First off, I totally forgot to ask how this little babe's name was officially spelled. LMK, if it is wrong! Second off, WOW. This mama was amazing. She had to labor lying down in bed the whole labor and still managed a beautiful natural birth. Her hubby was awesome and right by her side thru the whole thing. I love births like that. I hope you guys are at home tonight and enjoying your sweet little girl. She is beautiful!

This birth was beautiful. It was full of love and overflowing with raw emotion. This mama labored for a long time and worked really hard. Her hubby was amazing. They both were. I was so honored to be there. We had a great midwife, and the actual birth was so emotional, that the whole room was crying when this little man arrived... nurse, scrub tech, everyone!

Thanks again you guys. You are a beautiful family and worked so hard to bring him into this world. You should be proud.

{Perfectly Planned} Frisco- Mckinney- Allen Birth Photographer

I was the doula and photographer for this birth. This mama had worked hard to envision and plan for her perfect birth scenario. While I know it was a little harder than she thought it might be, everything went just beautifully and we were able to acheive a natural birth. Not only that, but she beautifully implemented the hypnobabies she had practiced thru her pregnancy. It was an honor to be there as she and her family welcomed their new baby girl!

This was a sad day for me. This was the first birth that I missed. AND BY 10 MINUTES!!! I know. Seriously. I had to travel 58 miles to get there and I knew it would be close. It was really hard and made my pretty bummed. I adore this family though. They are so loving and wonderful. Their daughter is something else. Not only is she GORGEOUS, but she has so much spunk. I am sure their new addition will only add to the fun. This mama was one tough cookie and endured days (weeks, maybe?) of prodromal labor. I heard she was quite the trooper.

I was grateful to get a lot of beautiful images in that immediate post partum time.
