This cool family happens to be close friends of our family, so I was really excited to get to do their family photos. We had a gorgeous afternoon and were able to get some beautiful images that I hope they will love. They have fabulous kids and I only had to threaten to tickle the teenager once or twice ;) They can be so moody, but I love ya, A!!!
Shocking... a real smile and I didn't pay him!
Everyone smiling and looking at the camera! Woot!
We actually have a few fall colors around here...

{Christmas Smiles} Grapevine- Coppell- Denton Family Photographer
It was time for this sweet girls six month session and since it also happened to be the perfect time for Christmas cards, we headed to the Gaylord Texan and did our session there. Little C was all smiles and showed us how she could stand! That is right... no sitting, just standing up! LOL! We were all quite impressed.
Here she is in all her sweetness!
With Daddy...
With Mommy...
I loved this one...

{Grandparents are the best} Dallas- Highland Park- University Family Photographer
Remember baby Caroline? Well, she is back, and this time with two adoring grandparents! They were here to visit and we couldn't pass up the chance to get them loving on her. We ofcourse got mom and dad in the mix too. It was a beautiful afternoon and we got some lovely pictures of the whole family.
This one just struck me. She is the size of grandpa's hand! Amazing how small we begin on this earth. I adore the way he gazes at her. If that isn't love, who knows what is!

This is the theme of our session... looking at the baby! It was pretty funny. I would say "Now look at the camera" and everyone would, except Grandpa. That baby girl was just so much prettier than I was. LOL! And isn't grandma gorgeous! I couldn't believe she was a grandma.
Remember the theme? More of that... in a beautiful location. This one looked unreal to me. Beautiful family!
And a group shot... everyone looking at me this time!

{All smiles} Dallas- Richardson- Garland Family Photographer
I had a family session Saturday morning. It was lovely out, and althought humid, not too hot. And let me tell you, this little girl was ALL Smiles. She was so incredibly darling. And I have no idea how it happened, but the pictures I picked as my favs don't have her smiling! Ironic, I know. She is just so beautiful, that it doesn't seemed to have mattered much. I am honored to have done this family's first portrait session ever. I hope to do more in the future!
Isn't this the sweetest baby face ever? Look at those big blues...

She had an adorable toddle that she started just in time for our session...
Isn't Dad just the sweetest here? It is like he just can't get enough of his baby girl.
Smoooooooch!
Ok, and I went and tracked down a smiling one... because you all couldn't miss out on this. It is too much!

{Off to the Circus} Trophy Club- Grapevine- Irving Childrens Photographer
I had the joy of going to the circus on Saturday! I was asked to Photograph Avey's first birthday in Trophy Club. It was so cool! Her mama put a lot of time and thought into it and I think it paid off. They had a photobooth, a wagon parade, pin the nose on the clown, a bubble machine, and much more. They even had peanuts, popcorn, and cotton candy!
Here are your sneak peaks! Your family is so wonderful... thanks for sharing Avey's special day with me!
This was probably one of my favs... we tried so hard to get the nose on her and everyone smiling at the camera. Instead she had her nose on and ripped g-ma's off! LOL! It resulted in this...

Avey really wanted popcorn. I mean, it was HER birthday afterall! But this little guy, no matter how nicely she asked, wasn't sharing. She would rub his arm, smile, and be so sweet. Grandma and Grandpa came to the rescue eventually, but not before we got this look of determination.
She gave up on eating the smash cake (vanilla) when she realized there was chocolate. Smart girl!
The amazing cake... although it came with quite the drama! Thank goodness for pre-paying.
One of the few smiles we got out of the birthday girl. Fevers on your birthday are no fun.
A quick family photo. With a balloon. Who invited the white balloon? Don't they know white is never a good idea for pictures? Sheesh.

{A wet one} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Childrens Photographer
This shoot was a blast! We had 5 kiddos ages 5 and under and it was a very hot Saturday morning, but we made it work. The kiddos were pretty camera shy, so we really let them play a lot more than normal, but I still got some great shots. The best part... the CREEK!! When we had done everything else, and it was HOT, we let the kids get in the creek and I got in with them... camera and all. It felt so great and they were really good at not splashing me. They were totally drenched. Thanks mama's for letting that happen! It was fun!
I have a few more sneak peaks than normal since it was a shoot with two families... enjoy!

{Oh what fun} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Newborn Photographer
I had the pleasure of photographing this little man when he was in the belly and was so excited to get to see what he looked like out of it! It was worth the wait. He is just delicious! Plus I got the chance to use my new fuzzy green hat that I adore. It looked just fabulous on him if I do say so. Enjoy you guys and congrats again!

{Sweet Sisters} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Family Photographer
I headed to the Arboretum Friday for a session with two beautiful sisters and their mama and papa! A is brand new and we wanted to get some sweet pictures of her and her family! Little C is the new big sis and she kept us moving. Considering how hot and humid it was, they did really great! I think this Daddy loves his girls, too! Enjoy your sneak peaks, you guys...

{Almost time} Plano- Dallas- McKinney Maternity Photographer
I had the wonderful opportunity to take Maternity portraits for "S". She is one amazing and dedicated mama who is ready to have her baby next week (I'm photographing the birth, so watch for it soon!). She has been on bedrest and still looked fabulous! She has been anxiously awaiting her sneak peaks, so "S" here they are...
One of her beautiful daughter (who can resist those curls!)...
